Should be a good game today. They don’t park the bus and stack their attack with Olympic Sprinters, so their style should suit us. famous last words
Two equal teams, should be about the same position come the end of the season, 1-1, or perhaps a sneaky 0-1
Popped over to the Everton board and it's pure tumbleweed. Seems it's necessary to send out the search parties to get the views of the toffees. @PJS - BACK AND BOSSING IT & @Tobes
It's a winnable game for both sides. Both teams seem a bit hit and miss so I suppose its who turns up on the day. Again I will say that we need to start taking our chances. Everton like to play so if we click we could get a good win. I can't see them sitting back and trying to hit us on the break all game. I'd like to think they'll have a go. It will probably be end to end stuff and a joy to watch again but I hope its us today that manage to put the ball away.
Think the Everton fans view it as a home banker. Maybe they're right and we're being overly optimistic ?
We don’t do ‘home bankers’. It should be a decent game. However, we’re without both our attacking full backs who provide our width. I think that might force him to play with 3 at the back, which isn’t our preferred shape and can easily see a side penned back in if the wing backs don’t push on. Neither side is defensively solid imo and so there should be goals in it. The difference - as always - will be who takes their chances.
I genuinely see the Palace game as a freak result. We had plenty of opportunities ourselves and their goals were off the woodwork or a freak own goal. On a different day it could easily have finished 4-1 in our favour. We seem to have reverted back to creating chance after chance but not converting them and in this league you pay for it more than the Championship. It's up to the lads to start putting the ball in the net.
Im looking forward to the game today and feel quite optimistic, 2-1 to the Mighty Whites ... er .. can i say that, apologies to any snowflakes out there for using the W word 2-1 to Super Leeds
