How to be a Tory: you look at the following chart, but then ask yourself if anyone has made you look bad

And when you do, you keep Manchester in Tier 3 while London remains in Tier 2

I have been watching a tv programme about the many, many, many slave owners in Britain who "owned" slaves who were worked to death in the sugar fields of the West Indies.......and these "owners" never left Britain but accumalated much loot from the practice. Some building huge mansions from the profits. When slavery was "abolished" in 1834,these owners were given huge amounts of money from the government for their "losses!"
But some Brits carried on the practice in Guyana.
They have records of every slave owner in Britain. They were never destroyed! Even the value of every human being, man woman or child was recorded,to the last penny.

Don't have an answer? Just sit there looking annoyed and shake your head. Nobody will hold you accountable, anyway.

It's whatever deal the Tories manage or no deal. That's not even a choice.

    There is, though

If he supports it, not only are the SNP going to have a field day and he'll split the party
If he abstains, the ERG get their way

He gets accused of splitting the party whenever he picks which sandwich he'd like for lunch.
If the government agree a deal, then he needs to support it and get it voted through.
That doesn't prevent him from criticising it.

Mainly because he can't choose a sandwich for lunch without breaking one of his campaign pledges. Remember when he pledged to not talk to The Sun at the Liverpool hustings back in January? How long did that one last?

The same applies here. A couple of years ago he was talking about his six tests for any deal, yet now he's saying support any crap the Tories manage to cobble together - and it has to be said that, if the ERG don't support whatever crap the Tories cobble together, supporting whatever crap the Tories cobble together is doomed to failure

“I certainly won’t be giving any interviews to The Sun during the course of this campaign.”
It lasted as long as he said it would.
He's not saying that, at all. What has he said?

He gave an interview with The Sun in March

    The campaign ended in April
Throwing weight behind whatever crap the Tories cobble together is definitely him saying that he's throwing his weight behind whatever crap the Tories cobble together - which just so happens to be a complete 180 on what he was setting out as Labour's position two years ago

He hasn't thrown his weight behind anything. There's not even anything to throw his weight behind, yet.

When did he do an interview with the sun in March? What was the context of it? I can't find it.

When he has "sources" briefing the Guardian, that means he's planning on doing it and gauging reaction to see if he is going to have to have a statement prepared or if he can sit on it for four weeks before quietly tweeting it

As for the Sun interview, it was about his Britait position
