What the bloody hell did the Ref do then..........?..........I reckon that he was a bloody coward , and did not want to face their Manager and players after the game. There was an obvious high kick by one of their players, ...... Can anyone tell me what else he could have seen.? ............. Cardiff lost 1-0. Liverpool lost 2-0
At least there is one record intact after last night. Tony Pulis has never won away at Swansea in a league match.
It was quite exciting reading this thread Shame it was ultimately disappointing. The ref sounds like a right ****er. Oh well, bright side and all that. Wasn't a loss, another point and still right up there in contention. Still sounds like Coops needs a kick up the arse with game management.
I think it showed that we are in definite need of a recognised striker , Cullen will come good although at this level I'm not so sure but he also needs game time to learn his his trade, too lightweight but there are other ways to play without getting caught by bigger opposition players and that and the art of falling down ( I'm not condoning cheating but sometimes last night instead of staying on his feet he could have gone down) so perhaps he learnt a lesson last night.
Personally I think any falling down is cheating and would never condone it. That ship has long sailed though.
As pointed out in the commentary and I agree. too many times Cullen was caught in the back and he tried staying on his feet which he did but then lost possession ,if a player doesn't go down then its rare for a ref to award a free kick in the middle off the pitch when perhaps he should have, they do if its in a penalty box 99% against the attacking side.
