I mentioned the same thing in one of the threads a couple of games ago.

The Yanks obviously haven't got the cash to replace the pitch - which is now well over its scheduled useful life

I thought it had been done.

 

The 'genuine' Desso (?) pitch costs in excess of £1m - I wasn't aware that they've changed it in the last couple of years?

 

I've checked - they changed the pitch in 2019, but not a like for like of the original pitch: they opted for 'SISGrass'

 

I know they said it had come to the end of its life, and was due to be replaced. Thought it was due in the summer but with Covid, might have been pushed back to next year.

No - you were correct. But as I said above, they used a different system/product

 

I watched a Desso pitch bing laid at Man Cities new training ground. They were putting in 9 pitches!!
