the sc/m down the road think there a bigger team than us yet they sign Shefki Kuqi and sell Carroll how funny are they FTM!!!
Great article here http://newsthump.com/2011/02/10/newcastle-unveil-shefki-kuqi-to-crowd-of-cheering-sunderland-fans/
We are a massive club compared to you - Newcastle 20th Richest Football Club in the World many seasons in the Champions League and Europa League competitons, Top 4 finishes in the Premier League etc Bigger Fanbase and an amazing stadium. We have been involved in many memorable matches like the 3-2 win vs Barcelona, 1-0 Win vs Juventus, 3-2 win vs feyenoord, 4-3 defeat to Liverpool and so on as for the signing of Kuqi it will only be till end of season and in my opinion not a bad squad player at all as he is hardworking. We was looking for a player who could make an impact off the bench and as the transfer window is closed we could only sign players out of contract. In the summer we will replace Carroll and improve other areas of the squad. Ewerton wanted ridiculous wages We have also signed Stephen Ireland, Hatem Ben Arfa and Cheik Tiote Hatem Ben Arfa - Worldy goal vs Everton and better than any of your midfield. Cheik Tiote - Signing of the season, fantastic goal vs Arsenal and in my opinion one of the best midfielders in the world. Sess or any of your loan signings made an impact like Ben Arfa Or Cheik Tiote? Didn't think so
If you'd read the Deloitte and Touche report issued today, you' d not have posted this, and you would look like less of a helmet. Silly, silly boy. Incidentally, Ben Arfa scored 1 goal, hardly the stuff of dreams is it? 9 I know he's injured, blah ) 'Newcastle had no relegation clauses in their player’s contracts, leaving the club saddled with a Championship squad on Premiership wages. The Magpies saw revenues tumble while their wage bill remained constant, leaving a black hole in the club’s finances for the 2009-10 season, while the Black Cats’ top flight survival meant the club retained the massively superior Premier League TV money. Deliotte estimates Newcastle was the 20th biggest club in the world in financial terms in the 2008/9 season, with Sunderland ranked somewhere between 30 and 40. But Sunderland retaining Premier League status meant the club maintained it's position around 30, while Newcastle tumbled to somewhere between 40th and 50th.' From todays report. Bits you need are highlighted. Whoops.
hahaha mr geordie boy you have just dropped yourself right in it. deloittes financial figures today confirm you have dropped 40th in the world while we are mid 20s. how the times have changed eh
well I didn't know about the latest report issued today but you all know the rest is correct and that we Newcastle United are a massive club compared to Sunderland TOON TOON
So you are admitting you were stupid enough not to check your facts. (Cut and paste is never a good idea if you don't read and check it first. ) Apology accepted.
heres an interesting fact. sunderland have won the league more times than newcastle! and a little quiz. 1) who was the last side to win the league?.- newcastle or sunderland 2)who was the last side to win the f.a. cup?.- newcastle or sunderland 3)who was the last side to win anything?. - newcastle or sunderland and i will even give you a clue - none of the answers contain the word castle.

Dansafcman. liked the link have sent it round the world, have had 16 emails giving thumbs up, brilliant.
[/QUOTE] Like I said above, I didn't know about the latest report bell end I apologise for saying we are the 20th richest football club in the world Newcastle's fall is likely to be short-lived. With a return to the Premiership this year and decent performances to date, Newcastle's revenues will be up on last year and they are expected to return to the top 20. It is also likely that they will leap-frog Sunderland to become the north-east's richest club again.
Still lol'ing at the signing of this plum.....Look out 'Championship', the "big club" are coming to visit again! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
