Quite like this response to Chris Sutton. It’s nothing we didn’t know mind but it hopefully puts him in his place.

 

I think it just provokes more... Best to ignore them it'll get worse after the takeover

 

Would t it be nice for once if we did. In fact get a happy ending. I mean even when it goes through the bulk of us would be happy with progress on and off the pitch.

 

If it happens just enjoy it... They'll jump to saying they'll not attract players to the North East, they'll still never win anything blah blah blah.. They'll do anything and everything to convince themselves nufc having access to billions might cause them a problem on match days, but whatever they say I know they know it's coming and it's deeply bothering them

 

This comparison between managers is daft. Budgets etc is pointless because neither is responsible for who the club sign. This is the same across footy, we are not unique. Hence the top clubs spend obscene money securing the best scouts and sporting directors. Managers are there to manage players and give the scouts a profile of the type of player they want. They may get the odd bit of information about potential players from contacts which they pass on but it really isn't their credit or criticism to take.

Bottom line is some fans were unfair to Bruce last year. However you can't ignore we are visibly worse this season, and as soon as he has attempted to transition the team, he has huge problems. He is basically not up to the task at hand in my opinion. So the criticism this season is wholly justified and I don't really care if their pal is getting it in the neck. Plenty of us gave Bruce the credit he was due last season, but its a two way street that. So when you do a **** job, fans will voice that too. I mean sorry that we expect more than just surviving, what a ****ing crime...

 

Seems Bruce's been rumbled at last....

Weirdly it's all irrelevant because we need him to do well certainly over the next few fixtures.

 

Come on Palace. A nice win tomorrow to heap more pressure on the Frank Spencer of football management.
