You seem to know a bit about low etc. This arbitration process is it usually quicker than actual court cases?

 

It depends. Arbitration is designed to be quicker but involves the parties agreeing who should be appointed as chair. It can take a while. But, in most cases no way near as long as Court.

I would expect arbitration to commence at some point within the next 3 months.

Btw- if it goes against NUFC there is no automatic route of appeal and any appeal would be on very narrow grounds.

 

So as it is NUFC raising the claim and effectively the terms around it. Then there’s a high chance they will win. Unless they wouldn’t bring it in the first place.

I can’t but help worry that it’s all a false dawn. We are all getting worked up for another fall.

If the issues are legal separation of PIF and PL conduct relating to this and application of the ODT test then the outcome favours NUFC.

The WTO apparently found that PIF and Saudi are legally separate. That is where Shaheed Fatima comes in. I am sure she has successfully argued this point on behalf of PIF or Saudi previously.

Nick De Marco is the sports lawyer arguing that the PL conduct was unfair.

Legal separation is found then takeover is a certainty. There is then nothing that the PL, other clubs, Qatar, BEin or Hatice Cengiz can do to stop it.
