Controversial in some quarters. Parker was a very good player (ability-wise), but the way he left Charlton will never be forgiven by a great many fans - including the two of us it seems. If we're going to include turned heads, turncoats and traitors, then Lyle Taylor has to top the list. The fact that Parker and Taylor were good (rather than crap) players makes their departing actions taste even more bitter.
Ricardo Vaz Te ... a run of 8 straight starts under Fraeye in 2015-16. We won none of them. Zakarya Bergdich
Two good choices there Lardi. Vaz Te was a fraud, totally unfit & just after a pay day. I seem to remember re-naming Bergdich as Birdshit on account of his performances.
Joe Ledley only played 45 min for us. I was unfortunate enough to be at Middlesbrough away to witness it. I’m not saying he was slow & unfit, but I’ve seen you limping into TK Maxx in search of an Action Man outfit faster.
I am afraid I have seen a lot of this is the last 9 months - the same type of people deliberately not bothering to wear face masks are the same ones rushing into social media to say that their peer group are suffering most because of Covid. Students are also very culpable - no time to wear a face mask, but plenty of time to post a Facebook tribute to Nanna when she dies of Coronavirus.
This has to be THE scapegoat/carthorse, Thuram. I arrived back from Brasil on the Friday morning, the day before his debut up in smoggie land. My jet lag was soon erased watching his 'performance'. Seeing him frantically diving for a football resembled me in Marks n Spencers clambering for the last tin of corned beef.
Chris Powell reported back to Doshitalot that he was “not up to standard” having watched Thuram train. Not even non league standard.
