Nah, they wouldn't do that would they ? Hope so, as that's me in and no frigging traffic to deal with either...can't see a downside to be honest
4000 is a completely arbitrary and pointless number. They should go off capacity of stadium and percentage to keep the atmosphere something like equal.
Kind of, yes 4000 in a 25/30k stadium would be barely noticeable, 4000 in a 60/70k stadium would be like extra ball boys cheering their team. 10% of ground capacity should (could) give a fairly level environment.
Not sure if either of them have ever been mate (or know where it is ) but the sound of Jerry Marsden would not be overpowered by them anyway.
I had an email from Saints back in September, asking me to confirm if I’d be interested in attending under a limited capacity restriction scenario thing. I said yes, and so did my 90 year old dad. They’ll ****ing hear me I can assure you (my dad won’t, he’s completely deaf).
Did you see the Northern Ireland match the other day? A tiny share of capacity and they made plenty of noise.
Not so quick Jamster.......We've opened up to full crowds here but ----- corporate boxes aren't allowed to be fully occupied as they are classed as internal venues and more restrictive rules apply.
Agree we did it on a % of the grounds capacity to maintain social distancing and then gradually increased the %
Last time I was at Elland Road was for a corporate do in the East Stand summer of 2019. The carpets on the box level were still damp and a bit musty from all the salty tears that had been shed a few weeks prior.
Just make sure you're available and on here from 7-30pm Saturday...no sloping off after we've run you off your own park
