Did you purposely ignore the track record time Nass?

Hope you all enjoyed your meals. Mine was chicken, steak, roast potatoes, parsnip, carrots, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower cheese. No starter, and no sweet; just followed with a Mars ice cream and lovely cup of Tetleys

Any of you ever have a deep-fried Mars bar? Served with ice cream of course.

We have 3 butchers in our little town as well as a butcher's section in the supermarket. One of the butchers supplied all our steaks for Amanda's wedding and it was the best steak ever; everyone commented on how nice it was. I don't normally eat steak out because it is never consistently good: I don't like having to chew too much. But that was perfect. Got a good discount as it was for the wedding but otherwise too expensive to have on a regular basis. Keep meaning to set up an account there to spend €XXXpm on the basis of having selected cuts but the wife still hasn't got round to it

When the missus cooks anything that needs a good gravy she always uses the Knorr product. Have to say it makes one of the best gravies I've ever tasted. She also does a darn good beef stew too, stewing steak from our local Vinzenzmurr butcher, and sometimes Aldi Süd believe it or not, both sell invariably excellent beef. Doesn't use quite so many of the ingredients you chuck in, but it's still a damn good stew, for the Winter months especially.

Oh, me? I have a Diploma in dish washing and I usually do this chore after a meal, this is since our fancy dishwashing machine blew-up and we never bothered to have it fixed. Wife has to keep a close watch on me from doing a bunk though. <laugh>

I thought It was OK, melt in the mouth gooeyness that you would expect from a heated Mars bar. Nice with good vanilla ice-cream.

    Musselburgh 12:40 Lord Condi

    - career low mark today
    - first run for new yard better than the bare result suggests when staying on in 6th (well beaten)
    - Ian Jardine has 19 out of 56 handicap hurdlers in the first three at Musselburgh over the last 5 seasons which doesn't look bad in my opinion
    - refitting of cheekpieces worth another try to unlock some improvement
    - stable amongst the winners last 14 days and had several placed

Lord Condi is worth a small each way bet at a big price

Track record? They don’t mean much other than to show the track was fast that day.

Shishkin wins by a street and 2 streets

Actually, I can't see from the results what happened; hope Sangha River is OK

Avantgardist in the last at Ludlow (15:55). Very open race, hopeful selection will improve on this better ground? 5/1 available in four places at time of writing.

Just got back from work and watched the Shishkin race - very impressive, accomplished jumping for his first chase and he has bags of scope. Sad to see Sanga River break down - RIP <rose>

He'll keep them up no doubt. Whether he can actually do anything with them is the big question
