because you’re a billionaire, you don’t need to save a few quid up front when you have long term goals of being successful and potentially increasing your investment ten fold, why let the hangers on gain from this.

Can’t get my head around that.

Am sure these new owners have got top lawyers that are saying, agree to this and that, then when it comes to the crunch, because he is thick as a castle wall, billionaire lawyers will find some way of getting the shares from the pair of cockroaches on the cheap

Everyone has firmly got it into their minds that Donald is going to make a killing on top of a killing here. Can't we just wait and see what the deal entails.

same here can't stand looking at donalds face , but there must be a reason to the deal , maybe the new owner wanted the club that bad that he unwillingly accepted donald's deal in the end . who knows

Will be a small price to pay to get control away from them , grimace when they get their pay off and hope the money does not bring them any happiness , not that I am vindictive or anything .

He bit off more than he could chew, with the expectation we would walk the league at first attempt, if we had and he brought investors in he would be regarded as our saviour, and rightly so, he would have been, we were in deep ****.

I do think they’ve done a decent job cost cutting, it’s been a disaster on the footballing side.

They’ve lied to us, and taken us for idiots, arrogant tossers.

I just want them away from the club ASAP.

I can’t imagine Donald is in a great negotiating position at this point in time.

Lets get this deal over the line and what will be will be, as bad as we look on the pitch I’m more than hopeful we can still get out of this awful league this season.

Just need a bit of momentum creating, which will come from new owners, manager etc.

    I hope so anyway

  12. Depends on the deal , what the cost is now and what will trigger the balance and when.
I don’t see any way Donald or Methven will have any active roles.... they’ve gone already.

I think the word that is the most appropriate term for the Oxford mafia's treatment of our famous, grand old club and it's loyal fanbase is contempt. Can't wait 'til they have no more say in running us even if they retain a minority shareholding. Roll on the takeover.

doesn't really bother me that SD and CM are staying in some small capacity, because if we get to the point that they cash in and walk with their ill-gotten gains, it'll mean we are back to a position where they mean nothing at all to the club any more, and we are moving back among the top tier clubs. As far as history goes, they would always go down as the nearly men, two chancers who 'nearly' returned us to the right path through the play-offs, but who 'nearly' took us to administration through their inept management of our great club. I will always want them to be looked at as failures here, because during our lowest ebb recently, they have been nowhere to be seen, hiding like cowards and waiting for the storm to pass. Cowardly ****ing tossers. A **** stain on our great club.

They have not done a decent job cost cutting, not for one minute. A decent job would have been identifying what should have been cut and what would have adversely affected the running of the club. These parasites just cut the lot without a plan or thought. Dont kid yourself. Everything they have touched has been a shambles from day 1.

Meh. I’m a Sunderland supporter not an anti-Donald supporter. Couldn’t care less if Donald makes a billion out of us if it means we are successful.

Out of the new managers mentioned so far, I think Gus would get the nod for me over Pearson. Implement a style of football that could see us competing well in the championship when we get back there. I would love Keane but could you imagine what he would make of the likes of Wyke and Flanagan.
