the winner won at 3m1 last run over hurdles, now wining over 2m in a novice chase round a supposed sharp track, that's what I'm talking about with distances and jump horses, basically any horse that wants further than 2 miles is just a stonecold plodder who just needs a weak enough race at any trip

the actual difference between 2m and 3m is greatly overstated, most jump horses can comfortably run at both at their ability level

But he also had Greaneteen over 10l behind him in a 2mile hurdle and also won over 2.5 mile. Obviously versatile and there was always the possibility that he may be as good or better over fences. No enough to risk backing him but enough to put me off the race

a tenner for you is worth a photoshopped 300 for others

why is a 300 quid bet hard to believe, its hardly a big time bet? not everyone is a 2 bob player, half a million is bet on most races on betfair, they are not all 2 quid bets

just because you play small stakes you don't believe someone else would bet a few hundred, I don't get it

Its Napper Tandy in the next at Kempton, 10/3 last night.

I don't care any more if it gets beat, days well ruined, I missed out on the graphics card because my bank blocked the transaction, had it in the basket and when declined I thought the website traffic was causing it, turns out my bank thought it was suspicious and blocked it, gutted, they are like gold dust.

the debut run from that horse was excellent, proverbial winner without a penalty and looked a really nice prospect, Baldings always improve a ton for the debut and the market didn't miss it either, hammered in against a strongly fancied Qatar hotpot with Newmarket form

Well done, good selection. The thing that annoys me is the aftertiming and the how much you put on something. I don’t care how much you’ve put on it, as you say 300 might be a medium bet for someone or a years worth of betting. It doesn’t matter, what matters is that you put it up in advance and get applauded for when they win.

    genuinely well done!

Have backed Third Realm 7/1 against the Gosden hotpot Daddy Frank later, that one will take a bit of beating after an above average debut but there are a lot of dangerous looking pedigrees starting in this and it wouldnt surprise me if one or two of them were also above average although the market hasnt revealed it yet. Varians are in good form and this one is extremely well related, the mare has produced 5 100+ flat horses so far with good AW records, Ajman Princess (G1), Ostillio (G2) and Cape Byron (G3).

Obviously guessing first time out but good chance Third Realm is a pretty high class horse in the making and Varian usually has them ready to go here.
