Just had a look on the Fishy forum - they seem a clued up bunch, all as pleased as **** that they don't have to listen to Swanny every week
Big chance for Eaves tonight to prove hes worth a start, unfortunately failed again - some good hold up play coming from deep but where it matters in front of goal he went missing against League 2 opposition - no idea where or when he'll get a confidence boost - bit of a miss firing dud
Good win, can't complain with 3-0. Shame the twats at the BBC made me miss the second-half commentary (though the sausage, egg and beans were also partly to blame), but at least the good work of our man on Twitter meant I could see the goals.
Tidy performance. Another clean sheet, what's not to like. Samuelsen and Scott will take a lot of confidence from tonight. Two of the goals were absolute top drawer strikes. Well done City.
possible opponents in the next round: Sunderland Man U u21 (if they win or draw against Morecambe tomorrow) or Salford (if Man U lose) Crewe Tranmere Man C u21 (if they win or draw against Lincoln tonight) or Lincoln (if they beat Man C u21) Wolves u21 Blackpool
Real soft penalty, we didn't deserve a goal from it. Lots of criticism of Eaves tonight, I thought he did well up front on his tod. If anybody else had been able to do that holding role he might have been able to get into scoring positions himself. Thought Batty grew into the game v. well and Alfie Jones was excellent. Good game to watch, goals too! What's not to like?
In my opinion i thought he played better his first few games than his last few. I liked the look of him early doors but lately i think he has been okay. Hopefully he will come very good again because if so we will have a very decent midfield. I don't think he has been bad or anything but think at the moment he could add another 20% to his game.
