As long as they didn't lecture us on what they should be doing, yes.

That word hate again. Seems to be applied for any sort of criticism, even the slightest, nowadays.

Seven world championships means the world to me but there's still a race we've yet to win... I will continue to push for equality!' Lewis Hamilton's drive for change after record-equalling victory

I'm not old enough to remember Senna, Hunt, Clark and Moss, but Schumacher certainly for me suffers from the stigma of having had the best car for the majority of his wins.

edit....Ditto with Vettel when he won 4 in a row too, I think it's just purely the nature of how F1 works, talent is obviously a major major factor, but there's also a chunk of luck needed too around ending up in the right car.

I also think that time and the application of rose tinted specs makes drivers come across as better than they were, and would expect that in 10 years time Lewis will prob be viewed more favourably than he is now

Is he telling people to do bad things? Or advising them to do good things? Why do we criticise people for suggesting people do good things? Genuinely curious.

Schumacher won races with a stuck gear box. No stigma from me.

Because he's virtue signalling, and expecting more from others than he's prepared to do himself, plus a fair basis of his argument is flawed, not only by the fact he's now very wealthy, and claims to come from an impoverished background.

Ah virtue signalling. Love that phrase. Generally used when somebody suggests you do something that you know is right but don't want to do.

I'll ask again, has he suggested people do anything bad? Or just good things?

He's polluting the planet with his job and lifestyle. You should hate him for that.

So because he drives in F1 nobody should do anything about saving the planet? You carry on mate, hope your grandkids get to enjoy the planet you leave them.

You’re an idiot if you can’t understand the damage F1 is doing to the planet
Showing no signs of giving that up is he?
I’d go look up what the actual facts and figures are on that travelling circus. And if it’s even necessary

Sure. Although he did claim to be going carbon neutral. He may also be trying to change F1 from the inside?

Is his message in anyway wrong? Should we listen to his message rather than try to pick faults in him? It's a very weird thing to do.

A fair amount of his message is wrong, yes. His lifestyle, wealth and claims of background alone show that.

Sure it's not necessary. Is his message wrong though? Why when somebody is trying to tell people to do good things do we need to analyse the person? Why not hear and heed the message?
