Aye, but there was the real prospect of us going into a ManC-like freefall. Much more pressure than failing to get promoted to the PL these last couple of seasons. And Bates was still here, of course, which took (more than) the edge off any success - it meant he might have stayed longer. Not cynicism, but fact, sadly. And that was me being as optimistic as I could then! Prefer to forget completely & let the romantics enjoy remembering the good bits.
Read a few bits, I get the mist of it. A bit of perspective here. Half a dozen clubs have basically won everything since we last played in pl. therefore best anyone else can hope for is attractive enjoyable football and nobody does that better than Leeds
Ignore the wum lads, we play great footie and enjoy it. We might lose a few, well yeah **** happens. As shako said I also enjoyed our years in the other leagues, Seems like the yids never enjoyed anything.
Mmmm that word “Yid” can that be classed as a racist word??? if so Doc watch out cos Poly might get on your case, he has already pulled Shaks the other day, Este you as well oh by the way Yid... go do one!!!
Your guys will probably win but a full Suncorp will probably put the fear of god into them, especially as it is the first full stadium they have played in this year.
That is what the Spurs fans refer to themselves as, although the club are apparently trying to stop it. Using the term as a pejorative is offensive to many and should be avoided in the same way as other terms aren't used to describe groups of ethnic or cultural diversity are not appropriate in a multicultural society.
What all this Eric !!! Is everyone wrapped up in this racist crap..... relax Eric, I personally don’t give a fck.
The Spurs fans use the same word in their chants, so if they don't mind it, why the **** should anyone else.
Nobody bullied me Chesh, just someone who got all precious about what was meant as a joke, but of course some **** wits choose to take something out of it when there was nothing to take out. But in hindsight I should have said Concacaf than African Nations.
Or maybe you should just notice talented players, at the peak of their profession, proud to represent their country and not the colour of their skin. Just sayin
