MARTIN JOL has fined one of his Fulham players £500 for missing a penalty. Jol has upset his squad by implementing a tough new disciplinary regime with wide-ranging financial punishments for lateness and back-chat. I think all teams should do this, Money does motivate footballers these days.
Wasn't that because he wasn't the designated penalty taker and he swiped the ball to do it himself? What. A. Tard. I do like the idea of performance based contracts though. Can you imagine how good Adebayor would be if he had to earn his money each week?! No more sleeping in the centre circle for you Ade, it's time to earn your cash!
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ines-Pajtim-Kasami-for-missing-a-penalty.html i like this idea of fining players. Would chamackh have any money?
Various papers and gossip columns today. Also rumours that Zamora is upset. Some are saying because he disagrees about the fine and others because he doesn't like Jol's new tactics. Meh.
red to this You said source i saw that as a time to say i like red as in 'red sauce' it was a joke. i give up.
I can see the appeal now... 'For just £500, we can purchase another badly needed tattoo for this hard pressed footballer, it's a short career and all every little helps'
If Zamora is unhappy with Jol's tactics then i suspect that Zamora will be sold in January. Unless, of course, the papers are reporting absolute bollocks. It has been known.
Thought you were going . But yes, I agree. Sure that's just made up bollocks by the paper because for one game a peritheral Fulham striker got more goals than their regular starter. Oooh he must be livid! Never mind the fact he got 2 assists and a goal himself in the game.
Now Jol has fined himself too! http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...penalty-kick-row-EXCLUSIVE-article808141.html Kasami was fined for not leaving the penalty to the designated taker; Jol has fined himself for not telling anyone except Orlando Sa that Sa was the designated penalty taker. Even if Jol is (apparently) heavy handed with the squad, he's obviously got a sense of humour and a willingness to admit mistakes. As a Fulham fan, I think he's a great fit for us.
