Even those people who've done their best to stick with Parkinson will know it's all over.

I've been watching Sunderland for 50 years and know all the signs by heart ...

... the manager has lost the dressing room, he wants out and he's making it as obvious as he can.

I'd bring in anyone who's available as caretaker and allow Parkinson to quietly shuffle away.

Everytime we get the chance to move up we blow it.The worst thing is we could have had this game called of if one more player got called up, and why did Flannagan not play, ****ing laughing stock for the 2nd week running. is Pearson available at least he would play Mcgeady?. how did Grigg miss that 2nd half chance ? him and Graham here at the club at the same time, clueless half that team sidewards backwards etc.this has been coming we rode our luck, and now Doncaster and Fleetwood away next, these lazy players should be in tomorrow at 6 am training after that disaster. i hope to christ this takeover happens as soon as possible as well what a pathetic week this has been. losing the ball, sloppy etc, etc when will this ever end ?. and these gets are stopping us getting took over most likely.

Their keeper had a great game, they played from the start like they wanted to win, did we play like we could go 2nd. No
I've never been one to call for the manager to go but this guy is rubbish. The only reason we've achieved an average of 2 points per game is luck.
Hopefully there are big changes coming.

    RTB...

I guess the worms at the bottom of the garden are safe...

Grigg could have had at least 2 goals and I would have been sweating!

I do not think he will resign. I think he will be sacked in the next hour or so.

Form over the last 7 games. The 2 wins came against teams reduced to 10 men, with the winning goals being scored after the red cards. Both goals against Gillingham were after, the first of which was a penna and the winning goal against Ipswich was also a penna.

If we really want to get out of this league I think we need to be ruthless with the manager situation and get him shifted. Scrapping for a playoff place just isn’t good enough for me.

Plus, hoy in the mix the impending takeover. The players know they're playing themselves out of a job if we go up. It's like getting made redundant but being asked to help to close the shop.

Wish we’d got clough! Would’ve been perfect.

I’ve backed him including this last week. Simply because results were ok. Performance wise means nothing to me. If we win ugly I’m happy as we win. I want him gone now

They were poor and we were awful! Lee Bowyer on sky. Go and get him!! I’d love him here!!

Well that was poor to say the least. Huffed and puffed 2nd half and should of been level. That said they could have scored again and deserved the points for organisation and sheer grit to hold on. Parkinson should go but won’t he will say we deserved something from the game and then pick the same plodders next week.

I hope this takeover happens soon.
Can PP be sacked before the takeover?
Just about anyone would be better.
What's Roy Keane doing these days?

You can look at possession shots etc, but how much of it was quality - 0%. We created nothing, no pace or skill on show.

What a shocker it’s like the definition of insanity trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome ,same players , same tactics , same failings , think PP has reached the end of the road particularly with the takeover - shut the door on the way out .

    ****e starting line up AGAIN.

Outpassed/played by a supposed inferior team AGAIN.

subs were too late/wrong call/changed nothing AGAIN.

parky, you cannot put a new engine in a car that wont drive if the feckin driveshafts are not connecting...you will get the same result!!!

parky, this is what happens when we face 11 men all game and do not get a lucky penalty.

wyke/grigg/graham, pick either one and you get the same result, not enough effort...some will say at least grigg put himself about but at the end of the day, with just a little more effort he could have had a hat trick, how the feck did wyke get a reputation as a striker ffs, every week he fails to judge crosses and his timing is miles out.

note to parky, see how much more effective we were down the left when onien ventured forward to PARTNER hume?

see how much more effective we were when power was replaced by maguire who PARTNERED with his wingers?

i give up, sick of beating the same bassa drum week in week out and watching that dinosaur with his one tactic (give it to the keeper to hoof it)...and his 'hmm, we are not getting a good supply into the middle...i know, throw on another striker'...the bloke is pants, sooner the club gets this takeover done and dusted and get a proper manager in and get rid of the 4 donkeys the better.
