He's certainly full throttle and they won't die wondering. Think its a fantastic attitude personally, rather than the usual try and scrape by. Its so far got them well clear of the zone so I'd imagine he feels vindicated while the other two promoted sides squabble over who goes down. If you look at the players, its remarkable what he's getting out of them - I think quite a few aren't of the required standard. He simply extracts extra from them. The only thing which would both hearten and worry me is, he's incredibly loyal. Great quality but they will need to adapt quality wise to the PL. I'd love to be a fan of their team right now. Football is about entertainment first and foremost for me. If people want to be bored out of their pants watching Rafa or Allardyce concentrate on 90% defence and stopping the oppo, good luck to them. It just doesn't give me much comfort to look at the end of the season to think "Well I've not watched much football, been bored stiff, but hey we are a PL also ran. Yippee." Lifes too short for that ****. I more meant that his style has adapted regularly over the years, to the point he's at now and he's probably still tweaking. Its quite a feather in his cap to think Simeone, Guardiola, Gallardo, Sampaoli, Pochettino, Martino etc have all been borne out of his teachings. He has genuinely influenced the direction of the entire game, which is pretty remarkable. Plus I liked when he was filming the oppo training, then when asked, just said "yeah what of it?"
It's a good thing... Staveley would've said its over by now and killed speculation but none of them have plus there's quite a few reports and clues that have floating around. It's not over, but I suspect we will get something conclusive in the coming months if not weeks
I see the makems have a takeover from some guy worth around 3 billion plus other members of a consortium... Good luck to them... I'd say we've got 1 to 3 years before the derby
