ahh well, did not expect too much with the young lads, first half played really well, second half totally different...still, some good experience for them and a couple of good performances, unfortunately to lose 3 left wingbacks in one game kind of sums a lot up. been one of his biggest critics, but much better from dobson tonight, kind of backs up my thoughts that a spell in the U23's would do him the world of good.

Anyone actually know what the actual point in Aiden O’Brien is btw? Brings literally **** all to the team. Doesn’t create chance, doesn’t score goals, doesn’t get in positions to score goals. Biggest waste of a signing in a long time.
Barton made a change at half time, we don't ever do this ever, even though hawkes is not a couter attack option, Parkinson should have put Curry on at half time, but I agree with you, the injuries did us to.night.
I'm not going to blame Parkinson personally. The team was picked to get a look at the younguns with as few as possible experienced pro's in as possible. And to be honest it's probably turned out well. We saw the best of them in first half but also seen how they react when flustered.
Sounds like we were good first half then lost a bit of shape and impetus second half with the injuries. Hope the lads who took knocks are only minor problems and good to see some of the youngsters holding their own. Be plenty of games coming up where they'll be involved.
But if he’d brought Curry on at half time we’d have finished with 10 men as two more defenders would’ve got injured? If we had no injuries at half time, maybe I’d have agreed. But we had an injury and a Willis who’s been carrying an injury. Sorry but no blame can lie with Parkinson on that. Why would you change a team who’s played so well fir the first 45? You have no need to
The least pro active manager I’ve ever come across. The only time he ever makes a sub before the 65th minute is if there in an injury. One of the most bizarre people in football.
I didn’t see a single post asking fir a half time sub until we were losing! Not one. Seemingly, we should now change a team who has played very well at half time.
It did go against us I agree, but watching the game against Wolves the best two players in our U23's were Patterson and Curry, Curry was the match winner, why did PP not notice this, and when the tide was turning to-night he should have gambled, thats why its his fault, he is too cautious, even when nothing is at stake hes cautious and afraid of failure. I would gladly swop him for Barton or Bowyer now even though I dislike them both they are good managers, far better than this lump we are stuck with.
If you have three defenders go off injured then you're buggered. Not anybody's fault just **** luck. Dobson played alright then?
