I find it a real shame that there's been so much vitriol, over there, directed at long term non-confrontational posters ... ... last night there were people posting all kinds of nonsense, calling them vermin, etc. Very poor imo.
He's better than what we've got, but not what I'd want. Personally I'd like to see us go for someone who plays more attacking football, isn't afraid to give youth a chance, and who can get the best out of players, and dare say improve some. Now that would be novel.

What I would give to have new owners who brought in a new manager who had a bit enthusiasm and something about him. A manager who in his first press conference tells the world he wants to get us back to the premier league but in the short term is going to buy two fast as **** wingers in jan, a goalscoring central midfielder and a 20 goal a season striker.
I first noticed your posts on RTG (not a member) then over here. On two forums your stance has never changed with the GF link. Continuity is the key and for you to say that you're in the same boat as me and the rest of us on this one is proof that you're not "full of ****" or whatever other slurs you may receive. He is probably a nice bloke, but for the first time of me following the Lads, we don't have a manager with a bit of character, Sam,Reid,Paulo,Gus, you get the picture. I said the other night that it's a shame we're not in the leauge above with new owners/investors in because I believe Eddie Howe would be a perfect project manager.
