we’re not playing our normal game. Understandably so given who we’re playing. Klopp really doesn’t want to lose this...rare for us.

 

We've been the better side until this half but again we've wasted chances. All gone to pot as usual

He likes his team to play out from the back. We've negated that, similar to when teams play five at the back against us to stop out fb going forward.

Very good until we scored, sat back after that. Second half was appallingly bad. In summary, I'll take 1-1 in our hardest game in the fixture list.

MOTM? Very hard to pick someone from that. Instead, I'll give Walker worst player if the match. He was never great but he's shocking now.

 

Don't think either applies to any of our players, I think we just settled for the draw.

We did look shattered towards the end
Few had poorer games but to be expected
Felt we really had them on the ropes but we just sat back a bit, more than happy with the result
Thought Milner did well today when he came on - nothing to complain about for me

 

I think Klopp should have been brave and used Jota through the middle but using a midfielder to help Trent with the double team. I think he did his best to manage Firmino's confidence but then we ended up losing the dynamic fluidity from midweek.

Thank goodness there is a break for our injured players to get some reprieve. Hopefully TAA is out for 2 weeks max.

 

if offered a point before the game i would have taken it so reasonably happy . Have to say i found the Shaq sub a bit weird as really can't see him as RM .

 

There are 18 teams in the league that would be very happy with that result
