Yeah, I agree that it's worrying. But it's also worth remembering how different those two games were. Against Leicester I thought we were clearly second best. But today I think we were unlucky with VAR and with the rub of the green. We could have won today. But we didn't and it feels like ****. So I'm off to get another drink...
Ally McCoist and Jeff Stelling just saying we have been cheated by VAR, with the goal and a penalty on Bamford ****ing pissed off, my weekend spoilt, but we move on, get our players back and we can come back from this. Oh, and Mike ****ing Dean is a Leeds hating cheating bastard
Imagine if Bobby Charlton played today, he'd be offside all the ****ing time with his comb over flapping all over the place
You didn’t see same game as me today. We were second best all over the field. Var decision was dubious but we deservedly shipped four goals. Emus player ratings I thought were spot on. With most players rating 5 and 6 you’ll seldom get anything from a game
Drink good thinking just opened a bottle of vino get a bit fuzzy have a nap and watch match of the day to relive the hurt all over again Feel for those who can’t go the pub to drown their sorrows
Emu... Meslier not at fault for any of the goals? Really? He was behind his goal line for the first, and not watching the ball and really slow to react for the third. Guess we all see these things differently.
The Bamford penalty decision was very much like the one we conceded last week, sadly we are going to have to get used to the decisions of VAR it is a joke though
Put Phillips, Rodrigo & Raphinha in that team and it's diffferent gravy. We then have Hernandez, Llorente & one of Harrison/Costa making the bench much stronger. For once I'm happy about the international break.
I see it the same as you, very poor goalkeeping from him today, it is a learning season for him though
Agreed milky. Was shocked when the first went in...it looked a regulation tip over watching it live. Third was unlucky but replays showed him looking the wrong way as the ball was crossed. To be fair, he nearly saved the 4th and had no chance with the free kick. However we've conceded 2 own goals and our keeper (or a better keeper) could have saved them both.
Agreed Jammy but all teams have to learn to cope with injuries. We’ll likely be missing two or three for most of season. We just seem so dependent on inexperienced kids to fill out the squad when we have ours
Fo'fuxake lads give Meslier a break, he's a young kid, yes maybe he could have got to the first goal, as for the own goal he was thinking it was gonna be a pull back, it takes a wicked deflection, he was unlucky in my opinion, the free kick was great, not many would have saved that, he's made some great saves in previous games, the defence as a whole didn't do themselves justice today. seems like you're looking for a scapegoat, don't destroy him
Nope. Once fit, he has to do his Bielsaball 101 course. Koch didn't because there was no other option at CB.
