There does seem to be groups of people in all western countries that meltdown whether they're favoured 'team' wins or loses doesn't there. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Indeed, and many display a distinct lack of self-awareness or memory when the boot is on the other foot.

    Delicious irony.

With the amount of guns in that country one hopes it doesn't kick off. If it does it could take a while to get the cork back into the bottle.

Nah, but had the results played out the opposite way, then the usual areas would be lit by the flames of peaceful protests.

How can anyone take politics or politicians seriously? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It's dumbed down to buggery by the media for a kick off.

I think Russia are more worried about Putin quitting in January than this election, to be fair.

Oh yeah, absolutely, but usually foreign powers rig elections through disinformation, not mail-in ballot fraud. If there was interference in 2016, it wasn't with the ballots themselves, it was with disinformation.

Trump could just say that Russia is behind it, but he isn't... actually, I'm surprised he hasn't even tried blaming foreign powers yet.

There a plenty pointing out the links between Biden, the Ukraine and China, although not as loudly in the media as the proven false claims about Trump and Russia. :emoticon-0105-wink:

It's wormholes like these that mean politics is better not discussed on here, with exceptions for key events, provided it's a discussion on those, and not the (generally one sided) partisan platforming they so often decline in to.

Completely agree, if there was no politics rule, this place would've died a long time ago.

yes. the percentages for biden and trump are given, so dividing the sum of their votes by the sum of their percentages gives 1% of the votes counted so far, so i've muiltiplied by 100 to get the ongoing total. dividing by the percentage counted so far gives the expected total.

America, as conservative a country as it is, doesn't need more conservatism. The last four years have set them back and returned them to the perception that they're gun obsessed, bible shrieking nutters who see everything left of Trump as communism.

After all the lies, the deception, the endless bullshit, it's going to be nice to have a US President that knows how to shut the **** up. And walk with the Queen properly (or be wheeled about in a wheelchair with the Queen properly. They might have to paint eyes on his eyelids or pop shades on him or something if he nods off).

A really cringe attempt at belittling Trump critics, based on that meme.

I think they are calling non-Trump supporters "cry babies" or something.

I could point out the irony, but I think it does everybody a disservice.
