Wolves under-23s take on Sunderland at the Academy of Light. James Collins’ men bounced back from narrow successive defeats with a terrific performance against Fulham on Monday afternoon, with the development side putting three without replay past the Cottagers, with Oskar Buur, Pascal Estrada and Meritan Shabani all getting of the mark for the season. Their opposition are coming into the game off the back of a pair of good victories of their own last week, having taken down Aston Villa by two goals to nil at Bodymoor Heath, as well as securing a 5-3 win against Fulham. With the game to be played behind closed doors, supporters can still catch all the action live from Sunderland on Wolves TV. The match will be streamed online from 1pm, with Mikey Burrows providing full match commentary, and it's available to watch on wolves.co.uk, the Wolves App or the Wolves YouTube channel. https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/under-23/20201106-under-23-preview-sunderland-vs-wolves/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialWolvesVideo/featured
Must have been a trialist. Corbeanu looks a decent player for Wolves, seems like most of their team are Portuguese. They play some decent stuff but little end product.
Curry gets his 2nd ala Goochie. Nice clean and clinical strike after good fast break. Left footed strike this time. Hat - trick with his head would be good to see. KTF
FT 2-1 Gerrin A good game - end to end stuff. Wolves had a lot of possession but Sunderland took their chances and defended well. Patterson made numerous good saves and so did their keeper. We held on towards the end after they were given a dubious penalty, but we held out and almost scored with another one over the top to the racing Curry. Mitch Curry - get him on the bench Parky
Looked well organised and broke a few times with a bit of pace. Quite a lot of positives to take, considering how poor they were last season.
When your keeper and center forward catch the eye, you have watched a good game, Young Vardy, sorry Curry looks the part, fast, and clinical. Excellent workout all round and a win against tough opposition augurs well for both clubs. Thanks for putting this on RTB your a star.
Thanks RTB caught the last 25 minutes, good result but see the kids find the opposition from our throw ins just like the first team, must be in the club's training manuel
Yeah seems like it - it was very different to the one touch tikki-takka stuff that they used to play a few years ago.
