Twitter have removed the tweet now.

They also removed Trump's claim that there had been voter fraud.

Edit: Just looked at that blokes Twitter feed, loads of the things he tweets are removed by Twitter for being false or misleading, yet he still has 262k followers. <doh>

Political twitter, particularly US political twitter, is both the funniest and scariest social media you'll see.

I wouldn't touch any political twitter accounts, even those I agree with, because it is just so toxic. My timeline is filled with sports stuff (which can get pretty toxic and tribal if you look below the surface) and people I actually know personally.

The absolute irony in Trump possibly calling for recounts only hours after telling people to stop counting votes...

The EC isn't outdated, it's just that few understand it. In our federal system, the loci of government reside in the state capitals. Every state has its own election laws, subject only to the loose framework of election laws established by the federal government with limit set by the constitution. Ergo, there are differences in eligibility, balloting, etc. from one state to the next. For this reason there are no national elections. All elections, to the lowest of offices, are governed by state election law. It would make no sense to usurp 50 sets of election laws, covering tens of thousands of elections every cycle, to alter how one election is decided.

We're in the 74th Super Over, after 73 drawn scores with 194 boundaries apiece.

    Joe Biden needs Ben Stokes.

Anyone get the feeling if the Orange Blancmange loses, the legal protest will go all the way to Biden's Jan-21 inauguration?

I've suffered from this "distribution" of authority for years in my career, having to deal with 5o States, each with differing financial rules & regulations that essentially cost a fortune to design into major financial computer systems.
The "United" States of America is somewhat an oxymoron.

He's been threatening that for ages.

Even if he lost every single state in a blowout, he'd do that.

Wisconsin now officially flipped to the Dems. Biden now 22 away from the Presidency, and his position looks almost certain right now. Not guaranteed though, of course.

For the record, the last State to be decided was ELEVEN HOURS AGO. Hurry up for ****s sake!

It's turning into a platform for some peoples personal politics, rather than a discussion on the American Election.

Keep to the topic of the US election please.
