Montezuma was the king of the Aztecs when the Spanish conquistadores came and ****ed them over. However, the Spaniards picked up a lethal stomach bug which killed many of them when they left. It was dubbed Montezuma's Revenge. The term is also applied to a dose of the ****s, though it was far worse than that for them.
Yeah it's the same as the ' Bombay Trots' which I've had whilst in India and never want ever again.Much worse than just the ' ****s ' and took me 3 days to get over.
Been really impressed with him. He’s prob not been really tested one v one against a quality striker yet but he’s done exactly what is required of him. Gonna be interesting to see who starts on Sunday between him and Phillips assuming Matip isn’t fit. Wouldn’t mind if Williams is played in the rest of the CL games even if Matip gets fit as well. With group almost done be great experience for him.
Arguably the best performance of the season? We were brilliant from start to finish, and every player played their part. Atalanta made is easy for us by being so open but we played through them with such ease. Champagne football at times. What a signing Jota is proving to be and it shows how much more effective we are when we have 3 goal threats instead of 2 (this is essentially how we would play when Bobby knew how to use his feet properly). All 3 of Mane, Salah and Jota have speed, direct, can dribble and most importantly, can score goals. The midfield really stepped up as well - Hendo is in great form, Gini has raised his game and Jones was really good. Shout out to Allison - he was responsible for the clean sheets and made great saves but is also so quick off his line to clear danger. All of this without Fabinho, Vvd, Thiago, Matip ...
Also his 3rd, very clever the way he changes his run, initially he goes to run in behind, then holds off and drops for a second before bursting in behind. Sadio kinda told him what to do by holding it for a sec before passing but Jota was clever enough to read that. New Luis Suarez without the teeth
Not sure how accurate this is but isn't that 7 goals in 10 games +1 assist and only about 500mins played for Jota? Nope it's 608mins my bad
It was very agreeable to watch us totally rip the oppo apart again . Whilst they played into our hands to a considerable extent at times we were totally scintillating going forwards .
I'm not trying to put a damper on what was a great performance, but Atalanta's defenders were slow as **** and it was so easy to run past/through them. It won't be quite so easy in the PL. Jota is doing really well, though he's more Salah or Mané than Firmino so isn't a direct replacement. We may need to adjust against defences where we can't so easily cut through them or outrun them. This guile is hopefully where Thiago comes in.
