You know I have not been to Ngong racecourse, not sure why, will make it a priority in 2021. I have been to the Polo next door. A friend of mine has 5 Polo horses, might try to get him to buy a racehorse and win the Kenyan Derby. I bet on a Saturday and at the big meetings through the week. I wondered how many bet each day due to the daily racing thread.
I think Black Op looks a very fair price at 6/1 in the Colin Parker Memorial Chase - has form on soft / heavy and has Johnny Burke on board who I really like as a jockey
Young Ted could never get with the pace of Darren's Hope and he was a really well supported winner today, I didn't think he would win, but the conditions and his own condition helped him lead the field a merry dance. Captain Cj was mightily disappointing and with hindsight was one I should have stepped away from having seen him drift from originally being 7/2 favourite out to as big as 10/1 at one point over the past 36 hours. His jumping is never great and they had no interest in putting him in-to the race today, it was a schooling session before they step him up in trip again. Tough going here for the jockeys and horses, the wind is once again blowing a gale and the rain is lashing down. Rather them than me. We'll do it all again soon
Better for Ryanair. https://www.not606.com/threads/cheltenham-2021-ante-post-bets.382796/page-4#post-14144141
Big question as to the plan with him regards trip. If the go the Paddy Power Gold Cup in a couple of weeks then that would make you think Ryanair, if they step up for the Hennessy they might think they have a Gold Cup horse. Or of course do an Imperial Commander and win the Paddy Power and then the Gold Cup the season after (same owners)
No Paddy Power Gold Cup. Too soon. https://www.racingpost.com/news/lat...-cup-as-bailey-considers-other-options/457739
Hmm not going up in trip for the old Hennessy either. I suspect he would run into Cyrname at Ascot so it might well be Huntingdon
