Cliff Byrne...what the duck does he tell Terry?
Would the Cowley bros come here? Because those two aforementioned amateurs aren't going to get us out of this league in the right direction.

Get well soon GLP, you'll be back on your feet in no time.

Can't stand **** drivers, there seems to be more and more coming out of the woodwork at the moment. Hopefully they get suspended from driving and made to retake their test. After a lengthy ban, of course.

And in Grant's system. Honeyman is one minute joining or even in advance of the front 3, the next minute alongside the back 4 picking the ball up (no, not literally). I admire his work rate, but said it last season, and will say it this, it doesn't work. He's rightly been getting MoM for his immense work rate and ability, but his role works against the effectiveness of the team, as does the absence of tracking back of the wide attackers.
A glaring example was their goal when Honeyman was one of 4 'pressing' (well, sort of) their goalie & CB's. They played round them into the HUGE spaces left behind them. Couple of passes and bang, a goal.
We are constantly over-run in midfield and rarely have good possession and repeatedly leave the defence exposed.
It would perhaps be ok if we really were playing a hard, fast, effective pressing game, and countering with speed and clinical finishing, like he promised, but we are not. Far from it.

I nearly got wiped out in North Cave this morning... road works section, one side available only, traffic lights not working, the clearway was my side of the road, a white transit driver came flying through (his wrong side of the road) his wing mirror caught my shoulder, sore as **** I hope his mirror is ****ed...

Seems you has really lucky escape GLP... get back on your bike as soon as you can, recover quickly, hopefully at home...

Tigress... you answered your own comment.... they failed as footballers .... at the risk of repeating myself (sorry to bore), if you've achieved **** all as a player, how can you coach young people who want to achieve... the difference between Barton and McCant is a glaring example...

Hang on there! I'm not a McCann fan but what has Barton achieved that makes him such a glorious leader and role model to young people? That is, apart from being involved in umpteen brawls, violating footballs's gambling rules, attacking an opposition manager, his police record takes half an hour to skim through. McCann's got 30-odd international caps for heaven's sake.

Blimey, all the best for your recovery, sir. Things like this certainly put a frustrating football game into perspective.
