**** off your mum shoulda wiped you off your daddys chin you know that? he worked ****ing wonders at Bournemouth and they played gorgeous stuff. Ffs their stadium holds 11k and they were in the premier league for years.
I'd like to see what Howe could do at a club with some decent funds at his disposal. He seems to get the best out of players, although that can often be the case with managers who don't have big personalities and proper primadonas to deal with. Still, I do think he could do a really good job in the right circumstances.
We're his type of club imo. Under the new business model we atleast spend and attract players who can try and give us a chance to compete, I really, really like our current squad. At Newcastle he'd be at club with a large stadium, more cash behind it, massive fanbase, decent squad already in place. Players he's familiar with. I think he would do well. FFS Graham Potter is doing a job at Brighton, it's not that hard to win premier league games.
Decent squad? We have a few good players but we are nowhere near a decent squad. Expectations have definitely been curtailed under Mikey, that’s for sure.
Side, squad, nitpicking. Doesn't defeat the point in my opinion. We have the capabilities to play a good style of football with this side, even with a lot of our benched players who seem far more comfortable on an attacking front as opposed to a defensive one, and yet we play the utter ****e we do now. Need a new younger manager with a completely new philosophy.
I am with Welshie and The #TwatCansMaster on this one. Howe may not have been able to save Bournemouth but I think he would come in and impose his style of playing. Bruce keeps saying he is trying to change our style of play but we are actually worse to watch now than we were under Rafa.
Nitpicking. I’m now supposed to understand what you mean when you don’t say it. I do agree, however, we are capable of playing and competing in a more attractive style and that the manager needs replacing as of July 2019 never mind now.
Man U in 15th I would love it, love it, if they went down. Probably never happen, but it would be hilarious after their breakaway attempts.
Make no apologies for using this thread for this as it's brilliant and would be wasted in Shearer's Bar:
