Personally it’s Coventry. Watched them beat Reading last night and for some reason I’ve a soft spot for them. Their fans seem to have had a raw deal for many years, even losing their ground so suppose I can relate to all that. Anyone else have similar feelings towards any club?

Funnily enough it's Coventry for me as well. Always in the top division when I was growing up.

Also they've always given us a huge away allocation whenever we've played there.

Plus I don't know any Coventry fans personally which helps  so no piss taking if one week they win and we lose (which is rare tbf <laugh>)

As a kid I remember the Arsenal team with Seaman, that back four, Merson, Wright, Smith, Limpar. I remember watching them beat Liverpool to win the league at Anfield. They were a great cup team after that and went on to play in Europe winning the cup winners cup.

They were always on the telly. I used to go and watch the European games with my Grandma (huge football and Leeds United fan) at her house and stay over. British teams had only just been let back in to European competition after the Scousers ruined it for everyone. Arsenal always seemed to be the underdogs and undr the cosh but always seemed to get the job done.

Strangely I always want Yorkshire sides to do well. Purely because if a team gets in the PL it seems to lift the entire area and invite investment. Good for the north. I'd love to see Huddersfield, Sheff Wed, Hull, Boro, Bradford all get up to the PL together. The whole county would be far better for it.
