A couple of points, It wasn't a penalty, but jotas first should have stood. Phillips was decent, however the list of supposedly "top class " defenders that couldnt kick a ball but headed everything away is massive, Tony Adams, John Terry, slab head to name a few. Jota must start, shaq has been overlooked for to long. Finally some of you ****ers are sucking the life out of me with your negativity. Good night.
Not the best performance but going 1-0 down then trying to break down 10 men was always going to be tricky. Especially after West Ham got 3 put past them in no time v spurs. We’re always going to be a lot more disciplined and compact. Second half we moved the ball better and Jota added a real spark even without his goal. Shaq again showing that in and around the box he has that little bit extra that makes him different. Not moving him on might just work out nicely for us over the season with the need for rotation. Shout to Phillips, was one moment when he passed the ball to west ham and it rebounded back to keeper, other than that, solid with ball at his feet and very good in the air. Cwnt play beautifully and win all the time, the good thing is even when we play horrible we still grind out those wins. Defence needs something but we’re missing out best CB, arguably second best in Matip and best midfielder in Fabinho so hard to be too critical at the moment.
in fairness you are right. couldnt believe it when i logged on. just to point out shaqiri has to be actually available to be overlooked. let's be glad that now when we actually need him he's there. (and was there for that semi final)

Apparently we've been crap since the lockdown ended. No creativity, no CBs left, let in more goals than anyone since Roman times, lost 7-2 in one game. Yet... Still top of the league (for now at least), and still ahead of all those who are expected to challenge us. Not too shabby then.
I dont mind the worry, or constructive criticism or even pessimism( love you bumps) but the constant litany of we are ****, we are ****ed, this is **** get tiring after awhile. There are one or two who id suggest would be much happier people if they ****ed off and took up knitting.
Always been a big fan of Firmino but his form has been poor for too long, Jota in Salah up top. Good 3 points though, we'll hit form at some point.
We looked a different team when he came off, the front 3 suddenly looked like they did last year, no positions, all interchanging, very fluid. Its a shame, over the years he's been a world beaterat times, but at the minute he's struggling. Hes been safe for to long, jota coming in has changed the dynamic, if it isn't a front 3 of jota,salah,mane against city. I may be slightly pissed off.
i am usually negative but very rarely slate us or individuals More of a expect the worst kind of person lol been saying since we lost VVD we are going a bit OTT No one is ripping the league up this year Yep both Villa and Everton could win it but so could we I still think city will win it myself - but we had a lot of poor performances last season and we had some belters like the palace win I am hoping that us winning like we are playing poorly is indeed a sign
Thought we deserved the points today, although going behind was bloody frustrating. Poor goal to concede. Defo had more drive when Jota and Shaq arrived, some where saying Shaq was surplus to requirements but he seems reborn atm. Moyes is a bitter **** saying Mo dived, if you get twatted on the ankle like that you are not staying upright. Didn't see too many complaints from WH players. Were obviously not at our best for many reasons but winning games is what great sides do
You never slate anybody, your just naturally worried. If we drew barrow in the fa cup your first post would be, "tough game this, worried we won't take it seriously " its comfortable to read and couter act those of us who are stupidly optimistic. You may be pessimistic but you give your reasons and 99% of the time they are reasonable and well thought out. I quite enjoy reading your posts.
