The wife watches it but in another room on the smaller tele. Used to be more accommodating when first married and we only had one tele. If she wanted to watch showjumping for example I let her. I just went down the pub.
He didnt say that Quill.... he said they would be brought in to discuss the logistics of a dispersal of the tests.... I dont think we have enough people in the army for them to get involved...
I must say, it's a bloody amazing coincidence that the BBC One feed cut right before Boris had to answer questions. Unbelievable timing, don't you think?
This. It's rarely happened but the army can get brought in to back fill the police and other emergency services in extreme circumstances. Last time it happened was when Operation Temperer was called when it was the Manchester Arena and Parsons Green incidents and we had armed military out and about. If it gets any worse we probably will see the army about (albeit nor armed!)
Shutting down pretty much every shop, pub, restaurant etc in England isn’t a five minute job and most businesses won’t start sorting things until they get into work on Monday.

When did they vote to do that? Anyone on benefits has the same coming in pandemic or no pandemic and would have had to feed their children during school holidays. There are some who have lost their jobs who are going to struggle until their benefits are sorted out. Will we be seeing shop assistants on Kingswood being sworn at again because the refused to take vouchers intended for the kids to buy cigs and beer?
