Its like having Tolstoy on here posting war and peace. Which reminds me of the first time his lass saw my piece.. it was such an upgrade we struggled to get it in. Took a bit of lube and a lot of spit.
Me, me ****ing me. That is what has caused this. If people want this **** to go away then they need to start looking at the bigger picture. The world does not revolve around them.
Outrageous, self-employed people like me (who haven't been able to claim a penny) will again likely lose work due to this month-long lockdown while spreaders like schools and universities will stay open. Again, stuff their lockdown.
Primary schools should be safe to stay open. It's secondary and tertiary education that either needs to close or be limited in who goes in and when. Eg in secondary years 11 do alternate days Monday, Wednesday and Friday, year 10 Tuesday and Thursday. Year 7 go in on the Monday. Year 8 in Tuesday and Thursday with year 9 in on the Wednesday and Friday's. Simple
Like I say though they can stay open but limited. Sadly my school isn't big enough to safely distance the year groups hence alternate days and at most having two year groups in per day with a deep clean every evening.
At least look at the data when its published. This isn't "them" and "their" lockdown - whatever grievance you have with the government. This is every scientist and analyst with access to the data telling the government to order a lockdown. In fact those advisers wanted a 'harder' lockdown and sooner. This is a lockdown for everyone, to save lives. You are basically saying #### lives if you say #### the lockdown.
