    The major difference between Wales and the French over the last 10 years has been the quality of our Coaching - specifically Gats and Edwards.

    They made us a team - the sum more than the individual parts.

    Ask yourselves this - Which other leading Rugby Nation would appoint Pivac, let alone Byron Hayward.....?

    I’m not convinced that we will necessarily beat the Jocks - 1 win in 6 for Pivac?

    I suspect that the Irish will not be as ineffectual as we were, and I give them a 50:50 chance of getting the bonus point victory that they need against the Frogs!

    Absolutely. I used to have a go at Gats for not enough attacking flair but we couldn't have it both ways and he did what worked best. As is obvious since he (and Edwards) left.

    Of course Ireland will be better than we were.They may even win the game but I can't see them being good enough to do what they need to to lift the championship.

    It's depressing to think we could be battling it out with Scotland every year for fourth place :(

    What was the result? This game's not listed on the World Rugby site <doh>

    As for the Six Nations - I can't be bothered resurrecting the old thread. I still think it's England's title. Unless Scotland beat us with a bonus point (possible!) and the other two games are drawn! Hopefully Alan Wyn's big day will go well though <cheers>

    Alun Wyn. Breaking record for most Welsh Caps against Scotland today. ......... Permission for his family to attend this record breaking feat refused by the Welsh Government. Surely they could have made an exception fo this special occasion for Alun Wyn. .......... hope they change their mind, I don't think anybody would hold it against them.
