About time O’Brien pulled his finger out today as well. Been absolutely useless so far.

When we were playing defensively, 3 CBs 2 full backs as wing backs and 2 defensive CMs and keeping clean sheets and nicking the odd goal. Fair enough, absolutely mind numbingly boring to watch although.

Now that keeping clean sheets is not happening, we should go back to 4 4 2 which should give us a better chance of doing more than just to nick one goal.

Have one of the several lumps we have as one striker and somebody nipper playing with them, say Gooch/Kimpioka or even Grigg ( whose not nippier)

Hume and 09 full backs, plus a couple of CBs who are on form. Maguire and say of the promising young'uns on the outside of the 4 midfielders, CM Leadbitter plus one of the many other CMs.

Of course this is not likely to happen. So roll on the takeover/share suffle etc and then dump Jurassic...

#Gills: Lumley, Jackson, Tucker, Ogilvie, Medley, Dempsey, McKenzie, MacDonald, Graham, Samuel, Oliver.

Joe Lumley 7 day loan keeper from QPR straight in for the injured Jack Bonham. I thought Jackson might have been injured but has been selected, so expect long throws into the box. Samuel and Oliver front two, but haven't been able to hit a barn door lately. Graham more the man to watch. Ogilivie back from suspension, so I'm hoping we stick Medley on the wing, where he is more useful and chuck Ogilvie in at CB.

#Gills subs: Walsh, Maghoma, Drysdale, Coyle, Willock, Robertson, Akinde.

Looks OK to me - Diamond on the bench, looks like O'Nien at right wing back

Even though I don't think he's been playing that well and the fact he hit the crossbar the other night, I'm surprised he's dropped Power

That would certainly be the formation I would go for, just hoping the gaffer don't stick Medley at CB instead.

Embletons scored twice today for our U23s against Villa.
Hopefully he'll be ready to step up to the first team now.

Arguably the team quite a few of us may have, optimistically, chosen.

This is probably how we will line up... well maybe Gooch and O'Brien behind Wyke.

Sanderson played well the other night hence why he’s been dropped as it’s against Parky’s philosophy. O’Nien should have been straight in for McLaughlin.

As close as you can get to admitting he got it totally wrong on Tuesday, this looks a better balanced side and I am sure this team will provide us with a better performance . Dobson his star man on Tuesday does not even make the bench which I am pleased about , probably a niggling injury? NOT he was very poor and PP knew it . Come on lads and win the three points and get us back in the promotion contention places.

Power was worse - but still made the bench today.
