Been watching the documentary on the London Ambulance Service on BBC 1.....and this weeks programme included last years Orpington Bus crash.....which my grandson was one of the passengers.....wow what carnage that car driver caused hitting those buses....they majored on the bus driver that survived and good to hear he has recovered and is back driving again.....amazing how many ambulances were tied up....some from north London in dealing with the incident and the operating staff back at the LAS HQ in Waterloo organising it all....interesting program.....still on the i-player of course.

I see the game against Portsmouth has been rescheduled and will be shown on Sky.

Doesn't bother me because I have a Sky subscription but for those that don't, it means they can neither go to the match (nobody's fault) nor watch it for a tenner or for free if they have a season ticket.

Given a lot would have paid to watch this on iFollow, is there any benefit to the club?

Yep that's me.....I would have bought this one possibly....so a tenner less for the kitty.....how much do they get from Sky for match coverage ?

Seeing that there is two of us living in this home....the mid-week Lincoln game I will no be purchasing....I shall follow it on BBC teletext.

Our beloved owner in his news letter this week seemed to be hinting that Argyle ifollow games could be using 4 cameras soon..... that would make matches less one dimensional.

PS.....I thought season ticket owners will still have access notDistant ?

I did wonder about that but I'm sure the original iFollow charter was that it would show games that were not otherwise televised.

I could be wrong or things may have changed as the virus has gone on so long.

BTW SENSIBLE - did you see that the way season ticket holders get their free iFollow access has changed? Don't get caught out.

Actually on the Argyle website in their thread reporting the Portsmouth game will be on Sky it mentions ST holders will get free access.

I've noticed that your Covid rating in Plymouth in Tier one has started to rise.....127 cases per 100,000.

I'm in Tier two (London) and our Covid rating here in Bromley is 97 cases per 100,000.

The league will be having more Covid related cancellations as the weeks goes by.....grab as many points as you can now before the fixture list will be two matches per week...every week.

We had a spike here a month or so back due to families returning from early skiing holidays and at a local factory. I'm not sure how quickly those sorts of things work though the statistics. There haven't been any reports of large numbers of cases at the university, unlike in Exeter.

That's surprising...most uni areas have been a disaster with students sticking two fingers up to any thought of obeying the ruling of the local area.....very noticeable in northern towns and cities.

Sad to hear about Nobby Stiles passing away at 78 (another dementia sufferer).......bumped into him once outside the ground at Colchester whilst trying to get in to the ground.....I was surprised how insignificant he was physically.....he just looked small and underfed.....but what a little dynamo he was on the pitch....and we all remember him dancing around Wembley with that toothless grin.....I think he was manager of Preston at the time...probably checking us both out...seeing we were all in the same Division.

That leaves only four World Cup starters now.....Bobby Charlton (83). Roger Hunt (82), George Cohen (81) and Geoff Hurst (78)..

    Momento mori.

It's one of my earliest memories watching that game in black & white with my parents. Don't remember a lot, just my mum saying at half time "they're just better than us aren't they?". Well no, as it turned out.

I remember when Mrs Plym was roughly six months pregnant with our first at the time.....and we went over to her parents....they had a large screen roll front cabinet black and white telly....a little more superior that our rented one....I don't think her parents had ever watched a football match before.....her father was a Scot ...although any sport was foreign to him.

Just spent some time in Bristol. Thousands of Students who seem not to have learned a great deal. Social distancing zero. Halloween night no social distancing with few clothes on it seemed around the streets. If their Mums could only see them.............................. No surprise there is another lockdown.

One thing I think absolutely stinks though. Government now decides there is officially no foreign travel anywhere. Well ain't that rich doing that the week after half term when a whole load of people would have lost their money cancelling holidays they booked previously. Deliberate move to wait a week???????? You decide. I am getting more and more sick and tired of Boris and his half baked boys and girls.

Who's staying up to watch the American election results? Should be a tense affair and will be followed by communal rioting by God fearing patriotic Trumpers if Biden wins.
