Struggling to understand why politics is brought into a football forum. We can't all have the same views and shouldn't condemn people for whatever their political views are, that's democracy.
My own personal opinion of CM was formed as soon as I saw him wearing red trousers in the bar at the Hilton. Who wears red trousers to a match unless they're a clown or a mascot. As I said only my personal opinion.
In my time the best owners of our club were Syd Collins and Bob Murray neither were union guys as I was but they knew how to run a football club.
Without personal attacks I think the sooner the clowns running the club are gone the better, in less than 3 years ownership they have turned us into an average League One club with run of the mill players none of whom other teams are queuing up to buy.
Let's hope Prefab, Smug, Magnus and Wheatsheaf are right with their info which I enjoy reading.
I'm expecting a load of abuse now from the usual warriors.

Apologies for going off topic but this thread has the most eyes on it. I'm after some advice re season tickets. I've kept up direct debits up until now in the hope we would be let back in at some point soon, but that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon and rightfully so as it needs to be completely safe for everyone's health. I have a very young family and unfortunately cant keep paying for something that we're not getting, yes we get refunds eventually but at the moment I can't justify chunks of money coming out of my account. So, if I were to cancel my DD, have I lost my seat or do I keep it my seat and resume payments once we're allowed back in. Thank you in advance.

When we were kids we used to call the kids from the top of the street. If kids from another street were around they'd get called by all of our street. If the next village were involved all of our village were called.

The insults ranged from fatty to speccy four eyes ...

... despite the fact that every street had some of each <laugh>

Used to work with a really small man in the late 70's, whenever this song by Randy Newman was on the radio I used to turn it up and sing along at the top of my voice, he took it well. He would shake his fist at me and say "If I could reach I'd smack you in the gob" or "Turn that down ya lanky ****"

Hell of a spread mind but I had to do all the ceilings.

I tried to post a vid of the song but couldn't

    Short people got no reason
    Short people got no reason
    Short people got no reason
    To live
    They got little hands
    And little eyes
    And they walk around
    Tellin' great big lies
    They got little noses
    And tiny little teeth
    They wear platform shoes
    On their nasty little feet
Well, I don't want no short people
    Don't want no short people
    Don't want no short people
    'Round here
Short people are just the same
    As you and I
    (A fool such as I)
    All men are brothers
    Until the day they die
    (It's a wonderful world)
    Short people got nobody
    Short people got nobody
    Short people got nobody
    To love
    They got little baby legs
    And they stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
    Just to say hello
    They got little cars
    That got beep, beep, beep
    They got little voices
    Goin' peep, peep, peep
    They got grubby little fingers
    And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no short people
    Don't want no short people
    Don't want no short people
    'Round here

Hi John. I jacked my tickets in at the start of the season. I won’t give these people my money but am in a position to if the regime changes. To answer your question I believe you’ll have first dabs on your seats if you cancel now and should get a full refund unless you’ve been using a streaming pass for one of your seats. As you have a kids ticket you may want to keep one going to get the games cheaper than a game by game pass. All the best.

    Great song <laugh>

I played it for my son a few years back and he was amazed that it could be made, even in those days.

Good song, the problem with short people with their asres too close to the ground, they cannot see very far ahead and get all frustrated and angry.. they cannot help it

When I was a kid living in Boldon Colliery scraps with the top street gang was a regular occurrence, loved pinching wood from their bonfire before 5th. Happy days. What made it more enjoyable was them being Skunk fans.

I had a phase of leaving a big beard and shaving my head. Then I had all kinds of styles but kept shaving my head. For some reason I thought I'd actually gone bald.

Then we had a ridiculous 8 month summer of driving around the Med islands sleeping in the van and towing a boat behind us. We has no facilities so my beard and hair grew ...

... sounds strange but I couldn't comb my hair for laughing <laugh>
