I agree with a lot of that, but ... If I’m on Nathan’s back it’s not tactical, it’s technical. He picks the easy option too often as an attacking player, but I think he was better 2nd half last game. Armstrong is better at getting at the opposition, Redders is better defensively Also, I don’t think you meant it that way, but tactically rigid sounds rather negative. I think Ralph is clear how he wants us to play, which is what the team needs, but the players have to make decisions on the pitch and they did that badly v Spurs and are doing it well now
Seems so long ago - I can barely imagine us being considered solid at the back after the past few seasons we have had
Ah yes I remember that now What's wrong is that I now remember his thread run but not our actual run Best runs, last one under Puel! Probably didn't score either 1921/22 - 8 1922/23 - 6 2015/16 - 7 2016/17 - 6
He needs a few more goals and assists as that is his main role in the team but there is no doubting his ability, he needs to find his top form soon or I can see Ralph losing patience with other options available to him now.
I don't absolutely know if that is his main role anymore However, if someone else is available who can do the defensive and team stuff AND contributes goals and assists then you are undoubtedly correct I think we've said it before he has the ability but his confidence seems fragile (This is where someone says, if he was better he wouldn't be playing for us )
Training ... https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/...ton-training-aston-villa-wednesday-28-october 22 Djeneppo's back 23 & 30 Is that Salisu???
I always had a lot of time for Good old Lawro's football knowledge so I'll take that. He must get some results right after all, on the basis of enough monkeys with typewriters blah blah blah Shakespeare etc And Lawro is a lot of monkeys
Saints have won 12 games in 2020, the joint 3rd highest in the league. Let's go and make it 13 wins. 2020 will go down as a year to remember in the world for many of the wrong reasons. This should not overshadow what a good year it has been on the pitch for us. We have even started winning at home.
Early research, for IPTV users, is that this game, so far, is listed on BeinSports channels 1, 2 & 11. Also on Supersport Premier League and Supersport Maximo. I have added them all to my favourites, for speed, should I need to seek out and switch. I was never a Boy Scout, but I do like to be prepared. Edit. Any changes made to the channels are beyond my control, so check and verify closer to kick off.
I passed Villa Park today on my way back from Chester. I was sorely tempted to divert off the M6 and sneak into the stadium.
