Aye, I think it's a common thing that if a shareholder wants to sell they've got to offer the shares to existing shareholders first. I also think you're right, if Sartori wanted them I think he'd have done so by now. Methven couldn't afford them I wouldn't think.

Maybe that's why there's talk of a "partial takeover", maybe Donald does want out, completely, but the others want to keep the shares they've got in the hopes of profit down the line. That could make things difficult and explain a large delay because I'd imagine most buyers would want the whole thing, not 76% of it

To me it feels like it's approaching the place where it was last time with rumour suggesting it's very close and people starting to come up with dates. For example November 10th being now muted.

The only thing that puts doubt in my mind is that Rodwell podcast. It seemed to suggest it's stuck until bailout etc agreed.

God knows. But it is Friday which is traditionally the day where everyone has too much to drink and theres an amusing fall out or a bit of info.

He’s changed like the wind smug, there isn’t a takeover there is. He quoted someone yesterday who asked him directly if someone new is definitely coming in, he clearly responded with yes, a few posts later denied that he did and even Vauxie claimed everyone was twisting his words despite constant screenshots of what he said. He’s having a little nibble at GOM
