My impression is that, in the last couple of interviews he's given,he's looked under pressure, not sure of himself under the criticism he knows is building, not confident in his approach, doubting himself. Might just be me,but I didn't get that impression from him before.
I fkn wish reporters would start asking Parky some real questions, ie why he persists with such defensive team selections, and why is he not prepared to start using some of our young talented players.
I thought he looked very relaxed, even dare I say it - 'Happy' after the Crewe game but yes the last two post match interviews and todays press conference he looks like he's feeling the pressure.
Country Roads Almost heaven Sunlund calling matchday venue bank of the wear life is old there pits have gone away crowds here chanting we can hear them all say Country roads take me home to the place i belong From West Auckland to the stadium take me home country roads
I honestly believe this is deliberate and Parkinson is writing his own death warrant. I think he's sending a message that he's lost his mind and wants out. His comments bear no relation to reality. ... it reminds me of Manuel showing Mr Fawlty his Siberian hamster that was actually a rat.
I'm pretty glass half full when it comes to Sunderland, I'm all for giving managers time. You know what ? I can't be arsed rambling, if super Kev replaces him today, I'll have forgotten him by tomorrow.
Thing is, his answer would be “we’ve lost one in 9. If it isn’t broken” etc. And, results wise, it certainly isn’t broken. Performances on the other hand. Although I didn’t think we were that bad yesterday. Created plenty and defended well. Not sure what else Parkinson could’ve done!
