As things stand, which of our current strikers will score the most goals for us this season?
(I’m omitting Josh Davison, who has gone out on loan).

    Conor Washington

    Paul Smyth

    Chuks Aneke

    Omar Bogle

Interesting comments. Based on a similar Twitter poll, our fans give a thumbs up to Washington, a muted vote to Aneke, and a custard pie to Smyth & Bogle.

Personally I see Smyth as a Luke Varney / Garry Nelson type - someone who will create space & chances for others..

Bogle may not have any real quality but like Smyth he works his socks off, and even though they aren't going to break any scoring records they are playing their part in our being hard to beat.

Yes. Parker was derided by the fans but won them over to an extent by never giving up, and always giving 100% (although nowadays it seems 110% is expected). Same may happen with Bogle.

Taylor & KAG managed around 30 between them up to January 2018 in League One. The worry is that we currently have four strikers who won’t get 25 between them.
Rome wasn’t built in a day though ...

    I’m relaxed about the strikers.

If the guys we have aren’t good enough, the Fantastic Four will find others.

If Smyth considered himself a winger rather than a striker I think he'd be significantly more popular and successful in his career.

IMO he operates in a similar style to Doughty.

If Aneke could keep himself fit I think he'd get 14/15.

My QPR pal was far more complimentary about Smyth than he was about Washington. There’s a player in there.

I have a feeling that once Bogle scores his first goal the floodgates will open - assuming he isn't rotated too much.

Going to stick my neck out and say Washington and Bogle will get into double figures this season :emoticon-0104-surpr

(I have no evidence for this, but as I'm not watching games none of my football related comments are evidence-based) :emoticon-0127-lipss

Josh Cullen would regularly give 120% sometimes up to 125% if he had three Wheatabix <ok>

I'm not sure Flash ever scored 15 goals in a season, he was more of a provider to Killer <ok> .... oh and Killer's punchbag <laugh>
