Daughter wanted them last year from Santa. Of course I get to water feed and clean out the "muesli" from their cage every week

They've bitten everyone but me <ok>

You need to handle them a lot, that will stop them biting, get them use to being handled.

    Do you keep them indoors?

Handling alright, they get pissy if you bug em too much.
Indoors yeah, we bring them to the summer cottage, but it being Finland, all other seasons indoors.

They have a big two story cage, so fkn big I had to get my kid one of those high up beds and slot the cage under it. <doh>

Give them something to gnaw on Sisu, unless they are eating their cage, then it's problem solved. If it's a plastic run, then stick a lump of wood in there.

I get them the furniture that's covered in edibles. Tunnels and houses and a few smaller sticks
They have a big wooden house and a big branch upstairs and a chewy tunnel downstairs

Like with the fish I try to make as habitat-like as possible

Literally 2 minutes from the gaff is forest. Snatched it up when walking the dog.

Its strange to a city dweller like me. There is literally enough wood around here to run your heating/stove and make all of your furniture and build the fkn gaff in what they cut down alone when the City trims and cuts trees.

but feck that I dont want to go back to 1850 living to save a few quid <laugh>

At university i used to put some frozen peas in and some brown sauce or Lea & Perrins in (or chlli sauce if i had some) and stir it all in - often drowning out half the original taste. Was really nice iirc, haven't had one in ages now though. My uncle used to do "product testing" (I now suspect they were just things that dropped off the back of a lorry but as a kid I didn't even think about it) and would have boxes of things like Pot Noodles. Happy days.

Non Tramp food in the oven. Pork and Steak chunks, onions and carrots, touch of stock, black pepper and sea salt, some water.
5 hours in the oven so the meat melts with the water.

Spuds on the go for mash... Ima smashing this, starving!

    This is getting raped :emoticon-0165-muscl
