    The word on the street is that PIF said look if you get it sorted out we'll still buy the club, but they can't be arsed doing it themselves.

    The sheer wealth of the PIF means for them this takeover is neither here nor there for them, least I reckon.

    It's not like Abu Dhabi view Man City as the crown jewel or PSG are Qatars most important asset.

    Its Staveleys deal she needs to fix it really

    They're only in it for the building work etc I assume... I guess they'd be getting blank cheques from PIF, so without them they aren't interested in the club
