If there is a takeover he has to go, maybe he realises this
I recall when he was at Charlton he lost a lot of games in a row, then got the chop

I've mentioned this before, but I do believe no fans in stadiums is giving Parkinson some breathing space. If fans were there last Saturday and last night, the pressure would have been cranked up on him big time

I stuck up for him at first and thought he deserved a chance(which he did) but he’s been proven to be exactly what everyone thought he was going to be.

Mate I am the softest person in the world with managers and if he was playing young players who made mistakes but I could see they were trying to implement long term change at the club then I'd accept it, I'd even accept another year or two in league one, but once again we make short term choices that don't pay off anyway, we have found the hardest point in a tree and are hitting the same part over and over again, getting exhausted then hitting it again thinking this time things will change.

We are not bound by law to only think of this season, we have the option to make long term decisions and see where that takes us.

Correct P. Baffling to me that this bloke isn't here instead of the bloke who is, or indeed elsewhere in this league or the one above it.

Of the two, one will see promotion as a target and a must, the other will see being stable in the division as an achievement, as it would have been where he has hitherto plied his semblance of management skills.

Let's hope your info is accurate mate, because , although there are further depths we could plumb, getting back to anything like the top tier with much more slippage could take decades.

Leeds fourteen year wait to get back to the top league looks beatable at the moment, Parky is giving us at least a two year start.

My sentiments entirely, we could have build a team in this league with our academy heavily employed, to see us not only promoted but ready for the challenges in the Championship. This fool is so busy trying to prove a point, that he does not give a jot about the future of the club, being solely concerned with his own vanity. The fact that the early optimism has been shattered, can be observed by the shabby treatment of Diamond, Niel and Leadbitter compared to favouritism shown to Power, Dobson, and Wyke .

    Managers rarely quit these days.

I become suspicious of managers I believe are deliberately working their ticket ...

    MON was absolutely blatant imo.

Parkinson is spouting nonsense by making out this is the best we can be and falling out with senior players. At this point he would normally criticise the supporters and seal his fate. That option is missing so he'll have to find another escape route.

I'm convinced he wants paying off, it all looks too much for the fella.

To be fair, we will score goals. And up to 2 weeks ago, our defence was the best (statistically) in all 4 divisions. Then Portsmouth happened and everything seemed to just go tits up.

First goal doesn’t happen if Power tracks his man. Second goal doesn’t happen if Sanderson doesn’t try to beat his own man in the air (he was good outside of that moment)

I’m staying on the fence about Parkinson. If there’s a better option willing to come here then great. But it’s pointless getting rid and thee only being managers in the “Sol Campbell” bracket available and willing (willing is the operative word)

I don't think we'll attract a decent manager til the takeover is sorted and we have stability.

I think the two will go hand in hand mate. I don't expect the new owners to hang around with their appointments.Hopefully they've already got their people lined up.

i am starting to think very much along the lines that parky does indeed want out, there are faults within the team and he keeps playing the same lads and same ones out of position, which begs the asking of the reason why...we can see it so how come our manager refuses to correct it?
