I don't read the politics thread but I want it kept so I don't have to read about politics in other threads. Some users will still bring politics to the fore on other threads but soon get asked to move along. It's quite simple really that if you don't like it then don't read it. It probably has about as much right to be on a football forum as lthe cricket thread does. I voted no to try and keep it all in one place.

I’m not a conservative and I think it has a strong left wing (or left of centre to appease Farked :emoticon-0105-wink:) bias.

a classic little dig at the end to anyone who is though and an implication they should be embarrassed. So wrong.

Not so easy really if you feel part of the undoubted community spirit we have here.

I said at the time we shouldn’t have it. It’s not the debate that is being shutdown. Dare I say it’s narrow minded to suggest that? :)

Another classic. You guys want to have a debate and want conservatives to come out of their hiding places (blue ink here) and have a debate, yet the derogatory remarks and insinuations continue, even in the discussion about the thread.

Haha - was meant to read "has the politics thread become what IT despised most" as in whoever started the thread!

One letter typo - now edited

I have put a 7 day time limit on this poll, as I noticed Tom hadn’t.

    More dictatorship.

I feel a part of the community spirt on here (as you know I have met many on this board in the pub)........but as for cricket I have no interest so I don’t visit that thread,I posted a joke on there some time back and that’s my one and only visit.

Just had a look.....didn’t realise the cricket thread is 4 years old <yikes>

All this blue talk reminds me of pre retirement times when, in order to avoid confusion, drawings and documents were checked and marked up using a colour code.
Red for in, blue out, green comments and yellow checked. Can't say I miss it at all.
Edit: the red in, blue out, green comments wasn't in any way a political statement.

I sometimes think women are taught how to argue from the moment they utter their first words. Now that should start an argument.
