TIME FOR PARKY TO FO if he had any morals he would hand in his resignation and admit the job was to big for him, lets see the new owners dip in the piggy bank, cos if they watched that they must be thinking **** what have we done here Donny boy has our kegs round our ankles.
i saw that...for his assists, obviously maybe i am alone here but i think he has so much more to offer and was usually more involved across the park so i see him recently as 'quiet compared to usual'...not saying he had a bad game at all, i just feel he can do so much more, maybe i am expecting far too much from the lad or it may not have helped being thrown into different positions lately, who knows.
Absolutely he's a bloody centre half really. Felt a bit sorry for him. But that sums up Parkinsons idea of football. Five defenders and even when we were chasing a win wouldn't take one off and bring on an extra forward. Two defensive midfielders who barely crossed the half way line and made almost no forward passes apart from diagonal hoofs that either found the stand or in Dobsons case the opposition. A centre half as a wing back Centre forward isolated by himself. Gooch and Maguire didn't seem to have a clue where they were supposed to be playing. Hume at least did OK and Scowen injected a bit of urgency but too little too late. Sad thing is we have young kids with pace and vision who cant even make the bench. Hate whingeing so much but I've rarely felt so pissed off after game.
from what i saw mate, he was getting no help whatsoever no matter how hard he was trying,, even the best of us would drop their heads if they had to play with them arsholes.
This is the best post I have read on both forums tonight, every single observation absolutely spot on mate.
Thing is, pre Portsmouth he was very good in a back 3 on the right. His preferred position by all accounts. So Parkinson brings back a barely fit Willis and moves him to rb or rwb or whatever. Not a ****ing clue and makes absolutely no sense
Mentioned bravery 3 times. FFS it's Remembrance Sunday soon mate, don't stab yersel with that Poppy pin!
Yes that is his best position sat back in defence. He hasnt got the legs to be a proper attacking fullback. My mate who supports Millwall even told me that about him 2 years ago when we first signed him. For whatever reason Parkinson cant see that though?
Was thinking the same TBH. Ive paid up this season as I have done for past 30+ seasons and have watched / subscribed to all league games via SAFSEE. Chucked in away games about 7 years ago but have regularly attended most home games purely down to blind loyalty If and when things return to normal (post covid) I seriously doubt whether I will have the enthusiasm to to renew. However, as I do for all away games I would tune in and listen My love for the club would never die (irrespective of owners) HTL
Why the **** is he wincing so much? Is it coz he's talking so much ****e or he knows his number is up. Please tell me it's the latter, as we all know it's also the former. "Tenacity, bravery, great passing." Wtf you blind, stubborn sackless fecker
Just watched Parkinson's video and all I can think of is that he must've been smacked up off his tits if he thinks that's a great performance!
already mentioned that we seem to have no partnerships on the pitch right now...maguire looked lost as well yet working with onien they were doing well and in all honesty maguire has at times been the hardest working bloke on the pitch. is it just me starting to think that parky does not like partnerships?
No way did we impose ourselves on the opppositon for 75% of that match like. We had a 15 minute spell at the end where we were on top, the rest was average. He's off it if he thinks otherwise imo.
