Exactly this. The team that was performing decently at one stage has been ripped apart. The players that have been brought in had to hit the ground running and that is not the case. At this moment it is hard to see any postives. I don't know whether it has been really poor management or just bad luck but we lost Manning for peanuts and it looks like the same is going to happen again with BOS. This doesn't appear to happen to other clubs and you don't see other clubs such as Brentford putting themselves in this position. They would have probably got £10m for BOS. Perhaps I'm wrong and this is quite normal and I just don't notice it happening at other clubs. I'm sure that I'll be stood corrected by somebody with better knowledge. The policy of axing players for not committing themselves by contract does not appear to be something we can afford to do with such a limited squad. Perhaps you can get away with it if you're Liverpool etc. It just feels that we're cutting off our nose to spite our face. The end result will be to make their position at the club untenable and they leave for nothing anyhow without us gaining from performances in the meantime. Surely we should be playing them until their form drops off. I know the answer may be that you are setting an example in the long term but the other argument is you are just axing somebody who has friends in the squad and causing a toxic changing room.
As I said it was a joke to Finglas who I was chatting with before the game on another thread. It has nothing to do with you or politics. This is the fourth time you have singled me out when others have said worse?
Just arrived home from work and read through the thread. I sincerely feel for you my fellow not606ers for living through what appears to be a hell-like performance. Peace boys & girls, there's more to come in the coming months!
And to make things more painful for me living in Reading the fakes are on a roll Stay safe everyone Peace!
Fear Warbs is under increasing pressure now. My hope is that we can just stay up this season and then reassess but our habit of wasting our recruitment opportunities time and time again is soul destroying. We can’t honestly say that any of our signings have hit the ground running for us. Early days for Adomah and Willock who needed time to get fit and up to speed, but it’s alarming. We can hope Rob Dickie will come good, and Dykes will command a profit based on his performances in a Scotland shirt, but it’s not looking good for the other signings. Grim
What worries me is when he says "At 2-0 down we were still in the game?" what game was he watching? At 1-0 down we gave up.
Bit of a rose-tinted view of our performance. We were extremely poor and if it wasn’t for their bad misses and our keeper it would have been an absolute hammering.
I don't what to say, I feel so deflated. **** it, I've opened up a bottle of red. I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!
He mentioned that there are always 'Keyboard warriors". Not really the thing to be said especially when he says straight after that "I don't think you saw a lack of effort tonight. You saw big performances from Tom Carroll"
I urge all QPR fans to get up out of your chairs and go to your windows and yell ... '' I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore! ''
I hit the Baileys tonight mate. Like you, I'm livid with that performance. Why is it always us? Conversations in the boardroom need to happen in case things get worse. Gutted because I sort of like MW but results are not good enough.
