    Keeper is king there. Obstruction.

    5 mins added...

I'm surprised that was disallowed for Wycombe - the foul on Foster was no worse than the one by Bournemouth

Yes - I think the fact he bent into Foster made the ref’s mind up.

Thank god that's over. Fair play to Wycombe, they deserved to win that though.
I seriously doubt they'll have an easier match all season. :(

We were lucky to get a point and Wycombe unlucky not to get 3, if they can play like that most weeks I'd like to think they will be ok this season.

We'll be in big trouble if we play like that at Barnsley on Saturday. Hopefully Hughes will be back for that - and I can't believe I'm saying this, but Gray too.

Too sloppy , complacent , lightweight generally and ineffective up front.

Anyone want to dispute that Ben Foster was man of the match for Watford.

I remember under Zola we lost to the likes of Yeovil and when they were bottom Bristol City so really we've never been that good against teams at the bottom.

Even when we won promotion under GT I remember losing at home to Walsall who were in the relegation zone and during against fairly average sides.

Last season wasn't our record against the top teams better than those around us too.

Good that he is honest and open but the owners won’t take poor performances too lightly based on previous form !

We really lack a natural left back , strong powerful midfielder or striker going to score goals atm.

But early days and we still seem to be 3rd!
    slip!

I am getting a little tired of these performances. We spend too much time trying to play short-passing, one touch football which ends up with giving the ball away. Either the crossing s bad or the players being crossed to fail to get into the correct position. There seems to be limited fight. We are not controlling midfield. I particularly didn't like the desperate attempts to get a penalty near the end. Sarr should have been booked for his dive.

Yes the defence aren’t good enough on the ball to play it around the back.

How many times have we heard "must do better," or "must be more clinical," or "mustn't make the same mistakes again," or "must pass quicker." Etc....

New manager OBVIOUSLY deserves time to adapt and get his style in. I was just wondering if the above "comments" are now just the Watford way. We've made an OKish start performance wise but decent start points wise, I guess.

Another unrelated point, I HATE our players diving, Ivic "must stamp that out."

BTW - WW did very well today and honestly deserved more.
