Their poor start saw their manager, Gerhard Struber, jump at the chance to cross the Atlantic and take over as New York Red Bulls' new manager. This week they have appointed Valérien Ismaël as their manager. He has had a number of years experience managing in Europe, mainly in Germany, but also in Greece and Austria. He inherits a side who have scored 6 and conceded 10 goals this year. As for us, I was as frustrated as many others on here by Saturday's display. We weren't adventurous in our play, constantly choosing to play it across the field instead of trying to get forward and break down their defense. It worries me that I was quite optimistic when I saw the line up, and pleased to see a few more attack-minded players, but that just didn't materialize into incisive attacking play on the field. This resulted in a frustrating Saturday afternoon. It'll be interesting to see what is changed for Tuesday night, but more than anything else, I'd like to see the players go and have a go. It seemed we played attacking players but remained incredibly cautious when attacking...surely the whole point of an attacking line up is that they will go and take some risks and attack! NOTE THAT FOR SOME REASON THIS GAME KICKS OFF AT 7PM...DON'T GET CAUGHT OUT BY THE UNUSUAL KICK OFF TIME. I'll add some team news when it goes on the official, but as always...others can add what they know... Enjoy, those who will watch, and...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
And here I am stuck in Acton, waiting to move a wide load to purfleet and guess what not allowed to move till 19-00 just as we kick off, should be arriving in Purfleet bout full time Rather annoying as I have a firestick and unlimited Gig and get every game nowadays !!!!

Sorry to disappoint you Kiwi but they are heading to my Manchester AirBnB for pre match drinks and nibbles Might even have the match on in the background on the big screen...
Team for today? I think Cameron and Chair could use a break. Carroll fit again according to Warburton, Wallace probably out with the injury he got Saturday. Deing Kakay Dickie Barbet Niko Ball Carroll Albert Willock BOS Dykes
These tend to be higher scoring games and they beat us every time I think it's an easy 3 pointer. A win would be nice though!
Clive writes that he's heard BOS won't play tonight due another twist in his new contract saga. Not good news if true.
Yeah seen that elsewhere too. Hope the stupid ****s thought to include a recall option for Smyth and Shodipo.
Worked out well with Manning? I don't know what is going on really in these contract negotiations, so can't make judgements. But if BOS gives his all when he plays for us play him, we need him doing that until January at the very least. If he doesn't give 100% which Warburton and his staff should know, but dont know we can really judge from a stream, then I agree with you.
If I remember right it said on the Official when they announced these 2's loans that they could be recalled. But didn't see that on Oteh's loan.
