With Virgil being out for the foreseeable future, somebody needs to step up to our number 3 captain role. Gini would be my choice, but in fairness, would it not be likely that Hendo, Milner, and Gini would all not play in several games anyway, based on last season? So, someone who plays practically every game if fit? Robbo? Captain of Scotland? Mane, a forceful personality? Fab, the rock in the heart of the team?
I just went for the maximum number of slots. It was him, Matip, Origi or Shaqs. Those three will probably play less the Vigril, tbf.
Hard to judge from the outside as you don’t know who the natural leaders are in the dressing room. Gini or Robbo would probably be next in line
Great things come in small packages I always think a captain should be defender or midfielder So Robbo for me
I agree with this. I think Robbo might be just a little hot-headed though. He is a Weegie, after all.
Its got to be Mane. Gini's long term future was and is in doubt? Mane has proven that the team gets results when he plays. He sets the example for energy and fight that's needed to retain the title.
